Hello WORLD!! Thank you for stopping by my first BLOG. Today I'm sharing a card that has a Fall image even though it's Summer. I wanted to share a stampset fromThe Greeting Farm that was released in the Simon Says STAMPember release. Even though the girl on the set is wearing a scraf, I figure why not do a thankful card with a bit of brigh and colorful clothing.I started out die cutting the blue cardstock with a wonky dotted line die. Next stamped "Thankful for you" in the top right-hand corner with Versa Mark (for embossing) used color Gold powder. I heat embossed the greeting and set aside.
For the girl, I stamped black dye ink (that is Copic friendly) on White 80lb Neenah White Cardstock. Using Copic colors for the entire image. Once that was complete, I used a white gel pen to highlight in certain areas.
There is a yellow circle, which this is die-cut as well so she is not floating on the blue cardstock. I placed the yellow circle on the bottom left-hand corner using double-sided tape. I adhere the girl with double-sided 3D form tape. After the circle and girl were in place. I stamped three solid butterflies around the greeting. Added glitter
to each butterfly and Nuvo Crystal drops as well.
